I walk into the Palace Forge behind a strong metal door was the forge, dad had sealed the room tight to the point none of the heat ever escaped unless the door was open. I pull it open and walk inside, I could hear a hammer pounding on another metal which meant my dad was hard at work on something. I walk in shutting the metal door behind me, I was near invurinable to the heat since I controlled fire myself. My dad stops and looks at me but then begins work again.
"Hey kido." He said as he worked.
"Hey dad, whatcha working on?" I ask.
"I heard about your little battle at school, and thought I forge you something to help you in the fight." He said.
"And that is?" I ask.
"A new sword, it'll modify your powers and boost them tenfold with a minor kick back." He said.
"I have to work though the night if I want it ready for you by tomorrow mourning. I hear your enemy is a real ice queen." He said.
"Yea, she can freeze people. It won't help her against me." I said.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
"Jesus Christ..." I mutter to myself, gathering my stuff again, "Alrightly then...I..I'm going. Good luck with...telling people..." I say before looking away and walking off, frustrated.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I look down until she's gone. When I'm sure she is, I gather my things and head back home. I drop my stuff off before sneaking out and walking anywhere I can, just wanting to think.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I find a bench and bring my knees up to my chest, wrapping my arms around them. I rest my chin on my legs and sigh, closing my eyes. Just trust me. It's better this way.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts. — Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
