"Officer Brookes speaking!" he took a sip from his coffee, watching cars pass by, listening, "I see..Hm..Ok," he flicked on the sirens and sped out into the road. Better be safe with this, the dispatcher seemed almost worried, he thought as he followed the instructions to the address of the emergency. Something felt off, almost like a feeling of impending doom, but he just kept driving. As he pulled up to the property, he felt terrified. He had the urge to run away, but instead, he parked and reached for the door handle. He opened the door and took a deep breath as he got out. He began to scan the area around him, unsure of where to start.

[radio]DISPATCH: "I'd advise checking the house first, the GPS tracker shows he's near the forest, but it may be inaccurate."

He jumped at the sound coming from the radio, he was on edge.
"On it!" He spoke into the radio as he began to walk to the house in front of him. He stopped at the door, grabbing his gun in one hand, flashlight in the other. He took a single step into the house. As he stepped in he realized the door had been wide open. With that, he began to look around. He shined his flashlight around the room, looking.

Corp. Cleo Carson's POV:

"Brookes, do you need backup?" she spoke into the radio, already driving over.

He glanced down at the radio when the mechanic voice came through. He picked it up,
"Yes! Just to be safe," he spoke into the radio as he continued looking around the house

-Corp. C. Carson

"Alright, I'll be there in 5 minutes." she spoke into the radio, turning on her car's lights and sirens.

He stood waiting for a reply. He heard the speaker crack to life and replied as he heard it, "Ok! I'll be waiting," he continued standing in the first room.

5 minutes later...
-Corp. C. Carson

"Alright, I'm here. Where are you?" Carson spoke into the radio, getting out of her truck. She would begin to walk toward the house, gun drawn.

"I'm in the house. As soon as you enter you'll see me!" he spoke as he tapped his foot up and down impatiently.

"Alright! Coming in!" Carson shouted as she entered the house. "Ah, there you are. Found anything interesting?" She inquired.
(Let the analogue horror crap begin :-) )

"Not yet. We should look around the rest of the house," he motioned to the hall that led to other rooms.

(yes!!!!)

-Corp. Cleo Carson

"Ok, I'll take the rooms on the left, and you get the ones on the right." She told Officer Brookes.
"Sheriff's Office! If anyone is in the building, make yourself known!" She shouted down the hall. There was no answer.
"Alright, here we go." She said to herself more than anyone else.

(I started this entire thing because of my love for analog horror.)

"Ok," he nodded as he began to walk down the right hall. He heard her shout and did the same,
"Police! If anyone is in here come out with your hands up slowly," he yelled into the first room. When he heard no reply, he walked in, gun in hand.

Carson checked every room on her side of the hallway. A bedroom, bathroom, closet, another bedroom. All empty and devoid of furniture.
"Does anyone even live here?" She said to herself.
Finally, she came to the last door at the end of the hallway, the basement door.
"Breaching when you're ready!" she called to Brookes.
