All of these were amazing poems, but these three really stood out to me and @Iggy the most.

Bronze and 3rd place goes to @Ruby68 with their "The Little Mermaid" entry.

Silver and 2nd place goes to @Wherethewindgoes with their "The Little Match Girl" entry.

Gold and 1st place goes to @magpie94 with their "Sleeping Beauty" entry.

Special mentions go to:
@RachelLeeAnn
@AlexSushiDog
@OliveDreams
@fortis
@niteowl

We really liked your poems too. They were really good! :D

We can't give awards to everyone, but you all did really well and this was a really really tough decision to make!

Thank you to everyone for participating! :smt003

Thank you. I didn't know this would mean so much to me. It's the small victories that keep the war from being lost, I suppose.

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
— Brené Brown
