This is meant to be fairly fast-paced: the tune is upbeat in a way, though more angry than anything.

DYING TO SPITE ME

I heard the news today
That I already knew.
Your parents told me
What they seemed to think I'd done to you.
They're blaming me,
And they say I've gone too far.
Tell me I don't love you,
But that's not what you're in this for.

I've wandered up and down
Those crowded streets at night.
Seen what love can do to you,
I've seen you wrong and seen you right.
Once upon a time,
I thought that I could be the cure.
These days I don't know what to do
I don't know who I stay here for.

Come out of your coffin and
Look at yourself in the light..
You're dying to spite me,
And seems like in this world
That's alright.
Say hello to the devil
And don't forget to write...
You're killing yourself for the last laugh
You'll have out of spite.

One of these days,
I'm going to find out where you are.
You think you can defend yourself,
You'll find out you can love or burn.
These days the perfect man,
Can only take so much.
I wonder where you think you'll go
When you've run out of using spite and love.

Come out of your coffin and
Look at yourself in the light..
You're dying to spite me,
And seems like in this world
That's alright.
Say hello to the devil
And don't forget to write...
You're killing yourself for the last laugh
You'll have out of spite,
You're killing yourself for the last laugh
You'll have out of spite.

I did find one typo though on line 7 - I believe odn't should be don't

I have to say my favorite part was the chorus, very catchy :)

cheers CL
Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

Awesome! Only part I didn't like was the "Once upon a time" line. Other than that, loved it.
