Spoiler! :
Just caught up with your thread again and AHHh you are SO good at these! Each one does feel like it's own little story-world, and the rhymes are smooth as well. I think my favorite one is poem 6 "mother from perth" - just something extra heart-breaking to me about that one especially in midst of me reading it in a "sing-song" voice in my head from the form. Looking forward to reading more.
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

Spoiler! :
these are amazing but the last two are my favorite i love how they have a sense of melancholy but also seem to appeal to dark humor.

Spoiler! :
ahh i love all these poems, Plume! they’re super fun to read aloud with the rhymes and rhythm, but also have tragic ends… and those ends make sense with the rest of the poem (like, the builder who liked windows being defenestrated? oh, the irony :’)). each poem is just so well-crafted. also impressed by the way you’ve been sticking to limericks this whole month! great dedication right there. =D looking forward to the rest of your poetry this april!! ^-^ <3

I have nothing remotely helpful to say, other than I love how delightfully twisty and twisted these are. 11/10 perfect use of form definitely recommend.

Spoiler! :
The absolute morbidity of each poem is so unexpected but also inexplicably perfect. Limericks are usually goofy, silly, lighthearted poems and so to have that expectation combined with lines like "they left her there, tied to the rails" and "and bled out as his face and limbs whitened" is...genius.

Also on a purely technical level, the meter and rhyme is very impressive. I can tell you've put effort into making each line follow a smooth meter, because dang they flow off the tongue so easily.

10/10 thread!
When you're faced with something you don't understand, I think the most natural thing but also least interesting thing you can be is afraid.
