Ode To The Mountain Skies
The sounds of Spring have returned
Streams flourish down the cliffside
Nature has woken from its Winter bed
Climbing up the mountain, no more rules left to abide
Running at the deep midnight sky
As I slide
Into slumber, riding waves so high
The dream consumes me
No one left to listen for my cry
Until the birds and the bees
Sing in the morning light
Just fighting to be free
Don't mistake my yawning, I'm just too happy to be the end of the night
The sounds of Spring have returned
Streams flourish down the cliffside
Nature has woken from its Winter bed
Climbing up the mountain, no more rules left to abide
Running at the deep midnight sky
As I slide
Into slumber, riding waves so high
The dream consumes me
No one left to listen for my cry
Until the birds and the bees
Sing in the morning light
Just fighting to be free
Don't mistake my yawning, I'm just too happy to be the end of the night
