You know one can spend hours reading your poetry and still never get tired of it. They always give a serene feeling everytime you read them and it's not even possible to pick a favourite one because they all are so good
Hiiii, @Arcticus! Dropping a quick review over here! <3
Spoiler! :
AHHHHHH your thread was a must read for me this April considering it's all about Islam and our religious journeys, especially since it's currently Ramadan, and I knew I had to drop in to take a glance at your thread!
And I am absolutely in love. I'm so incredibly enamored by how masterfully you have crafted all your poems, I can't even begin to explain how much I love your writing style and the whole tone and mood you've got going on here! I really adored that you used a lot of Quran verses and teachings and events from the Prophet Muhammad SAW for inspiration, all your poems have this feeling like they're all connected by themes of surrender, hardships, love for God, worship, and I really enjoyed that
My favourite thing about your poetry though is that they're all very contemplative and gentle, the words you use aren't too complicated, your sentence structures are always simple, so the final effect after reading through is a sense of serenity and calmness and it gives me a lot of peace to read through your thread, I feel so incredibly blessed and happy now that I'm done
I'm just going to go ahead and quote all my favourite lines from a couple of poems here~ I truly hope you have the most blessed Ramadan, may all your duas and prayers hold fruit, and I wish you nothing but happiness, good health, safety, and Allah's grace forever upon you <3333333333333

Spoiler! :
the millennia are heaving with the breath of the prophets come with me and breathe this air
to land ever so softly on an unsure tree branch just to sing the last part of a morning ode left unfinished
the pharaohs sip wine from cups of gold the prophets break bread and sit on the floor
the heart sways like a feather in the wind
do sandaled feet fumble where thornbushes grow? (how much does he know?)
was it the lightness of manner? or was it the smile that lit all of Mecca?
one must call oneself dust, and go walking toward the One who comes running.
if you ask me how sweetness can be milked from dryness, I'll tell you where the taste of dates come from
only tears and prayers To you alone, My Lord, I complain of my weakness
The entirety of poems 5, 12, 14, 16, 21, 22 <3333
There's still so many more I want to quote, but I feel like I might make it too long if I did that (XD), so I'll be signing off <3333333 thank you for sharing and keep growing <3333
