Perfect

When true love presides
In the soul of your blue eyes
And I count each day
As God's good blessing to see
I know you're perfect for me

Quiet Song

The song of my heart
Is soft in the long Winters
When it sighs its tune
Through the old trees bare of leaves
Then all is at last silenced

Heaven

Far above the clouds
Is a sunny paradise
Filled with righteous good
And obsolete of evil
So when we die, there we go

Live With Integrity

We recite it twice
When injury is regal
And always attest
A noble death is living
Living sans moral is death

The Shadow Of Death

The sad Sun comes out
When the reaper smiles wisely
And scratches his chin
Arcs his black scythe with bone hands
And dismisses another

War

Succession rises
Far in the mountainous east
Where hordes of men fight
To their miserable deaths
Souls forever unavenged

The Sound Of Silence

The silence is eating me
I struggle to breathe
I struggle to see
I struggle to hear
Every organ slowly ripped apart and stitched together
Like a crumpled Spring flower watered once again
My body catches aflame
And I scream in pain
Heart melting
Face dripping like candle wax

Stop
Just look around
And see
And you realise it’s just the silence eating me
Concrete reality in its impossibility
Watching me
In all my viewer subjectivity

Walking across the street
The silence is eating me
While everyone talks next to me

And I bang on the door
Scream for help
Unaware of where I am
Scream out loud in a rapid rising crescendo
Pitch killing me
And the silence is eating me

I can’t hear
I can’t see
I can’t speak
Every word I say drifts away
Every sound I hear falls out again
Every thing I see jumbles in my cortex
But they always hear it and respond it
Every thing they say they continue
Every thing I see I see again
But the silence is eating me

Oh, what a wonderful world
We live in
In this impossibility of concrete reality
In this beautiful world
I’ll scream myself to sleep

So sleep well buttercup

Beneath the Sun's glowing rays
Smell the dew of Spring

In the sandy bay
With all the crashing blue waves
Do the seagulls cry

The Stone Rolled Away

Sanctioned by our god
Torn by our forgiven sin
Saved by Jesus Christ
Who died on the cross for us
So we may repent to Him

Baptised

The stone rolled away
And I breathed in tranquillity
Past the roaring seas
Crashing upon the rocks
Like tiny little ripples
In our giant pond
Striving for hope and peace
Like the koi of day and night

The stone rolled away
And He walked out
With the dove of peace on one arm
And He removed his crown of thorns
He spoke to His Father with joy
Lifted of His only sin
His body cleansed and baptised in the spring of God
"Father, why have you forsaken me," he had said

The stone rolled away
And He was lifted from death
To once again greet His disciples
To leave His final message
Of love and faith
That our God so great had lifted each of us
From our cross and pulled out the nails that reminded us of our evil
So we may praise Him in glorified righteousness

I want to see people turn and writhe; make them feel things they cannot see and sometimes do not know.
