Yes, judges can participate @Iggy. It means you'll be judging every round except the ones you're in. Which means I can let my friend off the hook now as I was gonna bug her to judge rounds I was in xD
I'll send you some info and a link to the judging pad this weekend!
@Stranger and @fortis welcome to the tournament. Best of luck!
Just one question: where are we posting them? Are we like actually publishing them, or are we posting them in a thread, or PMing, or how does that work? Thanks
Nevermind I just read deeper!

(though, if you need judging help, I'll do that, too. I think. Alternate judge? I'll text you, since my life basically is hanging by a thread from HR right now...)

Medieval Lit! Come here to find out who Chaucer plagiarized and translated - and why and how it worked in the late 1300s.
@Sarah12 Posting them here is fine so I'll add you to the list!
@Morrigan and @Meshugenah I've signed you both up for participation and judging! Having a few extra judges is always good, then if someone's too busy to judge one round, there will still be a couple of opinions to go off
One place left! Though there's often someone who has to drop so don't be put off signing up after that. There's also still time for us to get 22-24 participants, in which case I'll add another heat.
Perfect! I'll draw pairings tonight and post them in this thread
Anyone joining after this point will go down as a replacement poet - that means you should post a poem for the first round and then if one of the contestants fails to post their first entry, you'll be judged in their place.
I'll put the visual up tomorrow but you are welcome to start writing your first poem any time after 12:00pm GMT today. If you enter it at 12:01 I will not believe that you wrote it on the 1st April though
You have until 3rd April 10:00pm GMT and if you're late submitting but post it before I go to sleep, there will be no penalty. I'll be sleeping by midnight so that gives you a few hours leeway.
@Rydia It said we could write it no more than 2 days beforehand, so it's all right if I start working on it now, right?
Oh, and, I just want to make sure 1. 12:00 is midnight, not noon, and 2. In Central Standard Time that would be 7:00 PM right? I want to make sure my math is right. Okay! Thanks!
