I've walked this far and back on legs borrowed from a fragile wing who stepped our remorse down to twice the span and spent the time settling with loss followed by one, two, and three with flames for eyes and chains to each glare, strapped hearts so burdened and heads hung low enough to catch a blaze on dying embers in September breaths (with a hint of summer for the past and whisper of winter for the future) lonesome in the absences of every thing totaled.
Count the drifts of the pendulum and the wayward cries of a seabound wreck that even the wings too delicate to lend themselves here would sacrifice the whole nine yards to light upon. And, breathe the stolid remains that these winds have duned and shared your eyes into dust that even the bravest haven't eyes to see.
