How Far Did You Get?

I managed to write 17 poems, which isn't too bad, considering that I had a lot to do in April.

5 of them are Haikus, four of them written during my history class.

2 of them are Sonnets, or at least my bizarre manner of sonnets...

The rest of them do not rhyme at all.

3 of them I converted from something else I had written that turned out to be good for a poem, and several others were set in my novel universe.

Most of my beginning poems were about rain and death. Don't ask me why about the death, but it was rainy a lot during the beginning of the month.

So, I was not perfect, but I did come up with some interesting poems.

So I wasn't actually participating, technically.

BUT I have only been able to successfully write poetry month, and I BLAME T.S. Eliot. So. Counting up, I wrote... approximately fifteen poems? Not counting haiku/senryu?

Not bad, I suppose, given it wasn't specific. Or something.

I actually started late on April 4 or so, wrote about fifteen poems on April 30, and finished.

So yeah, 30/30.

I think I was on April 27th or so before I stopped. So close, yet so far! Then again, there were definitely days when I was writing [s]multiple[/s] makeup poems for the days before XD

Congratulations to everyone who got 30 poems, especially everyone with the dedication to wrote one poem a day!! Hopefully I'll be able to do the same next year ^_^
