According to a bit of a legend, Ernest Hemingway wrote the shortest ever story - six words long, when his fellow author-friends betted that he couldn't.
The six words? They were “For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn.”
Whether Hemingway was indeed responsible for the creation of the story 'Baby Shoes' I thought it would make a good competition.
Basically, the rules are that if you are interested in competing, reply below. Then, once you've created your story, send it to me in a PM. The story must be six words only, contractions and hyphenated words are allowed, so long as you haven't just hyphenated two separate words together when there wouldn't normally be a hyphen.
