Musical Short Stories!

I have a lovely competition for you that mixes music and writing!

So what do I have to do?
Write a short story of maximum 800 words that includes a celebration of a birthday and as many lines from songs as you can. Then post the link here and please mention which songs you used. And yes, the line can be slightly adapted to fit the text (tense wise, etc) Here are the songs below:

Royals by Lorde
Skinny love by Birdie or the Bon Ivor original
Carry you home by James Blunt
Acapella by Karmin
And a song of your choice, as long as you put which it is!

What can I win?
1st Prize = 1000 points and two reviews of your choice
2nd Prize = 750 points and two reviews of your choice
3rd Prize = 500 points and one review of your choice.

For what it's worth: The original "Skinny Love" song was written by Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), and Birdy* does a piano cover of it beautifully.

Hmm... If I enter could I do the original version of Skinny Love by Bon Iver?
(And if you haven't heard it go listen to it! It's much better in my opinion. More emotion.)

As much as I would love to particpate in this competition I cant. I have to many assignments this week, and quite a few tests. But I'm sure that it will be a lot of fun and I'm disapointed I cant take part.

Oh, I don't know. I'm tempted, but I don't know if I'll have time. But... if you keep bugging me about it then I'm sure I'll cave and find the time.

Agh! This sounds really fun! I totally would do it, but one, I'm kinda late and would have less time. Two, I have a Spanish test Tuesday, a Spanish verbal presentation Wednesday, and a couple other quizzes this week.

So, I'm gonna have to pass on this one. Good luck to everyone who is participating, though!
