n 1: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work 2: the act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own


Plagiarism will not be tolerated, no matter the circumstance, at the Young Writers Society. Any person caught presenting another person's work as their own will be banned from YWS and, if it is possible, the original authors will be notified. Plagiarism is a crime and legal action against the person responsible is possible.
