With support from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Translating Migration brings together the voices of migrant poets globally with the goal of expanding opportunities for creative expression. Migrants are invited to submit their original poetry for publication, which will be reviewed and translated by established poets and translators. Poets selected will receive also funding and assistance to organize a poetry workshop for migrants in their communities.

Poetry submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Eligibility:

Anyone who identifies as a migrant is welcome to submit poetry.

Poetry submitted must be original and unpublished work.

Poetry may be submitted in any language and, if selected, will be translated into English for publication.

Visit translatingmigration.com for more info & to submit. Email info@translatingmigration.com with any questions.
