According to Merriam-Webster, a pun is defined as "the usually humorous use of a word in such a way as to suggest two or more of its meanings or the meaning of another word similar in sound."

This is a game my friend Ben and I like to play in Lit class. Basically what you do is you see how many times you can pun a word that someone says. A perfect example was in class not too long ago:

WORD: "Sonnet"

PUNS:
-- The echolocation method of bats (sonar)
-- Energy from the sun (solar)
-- A gangsta way of disagreeing ("'snot it")

Rules are simple:
1.) Pick a word from the person who posted above you.
2.) Define/describe your pun (see the examples above)
3.) Repeat as often as you like

Have at it! Your first word is an easy one:

CANE
