I did. But I can't go back beyond about the 1560s, i think? Thought another line supposed goes back a lot further. Dunno how valid that could be, though.

My skills are pretty good... I can piece together a father by looking at a baptism for several children and also their guests, research those guests given and find a record to confirm. I did with this really hard struggle... Maybe I can help?
I was doing pretty good, but once you get back to the 1500s, records can be a little iffy. Not to mention spelling changes to names and unreliable record keeping. Ugh. And most of it is in the UK. It's hard sometimes, especially when I don't want to pay for ancestry.com x.x

Oh... The UK without Ancestry... I've seen potential wills from that area, blotty messes with tiny writing and part of it are faint... extremely faint. I have been researching the link between the Janse van Rensburg's and a potential ancestor in the Netherlands. It is horrible work. Maybe I can find something... I have been known to go a lot of crooks and crannies that no one else finds.
