ahah that's admirable! If I can possibly avoid math at all I will do so haha

We did in school some math contests where we had to stand in front of our desks and the teacher went to two students and gave them something to calculated. The loser had to sit down until the last one was standing. They won nothing besides being the best. I was nearly always second. That girl... one day I´m going to win!
See, I am dyscalculic. Which is the numbers version of dyslexia. So I have an extremely strong visceral hatred of numbers in general haha

IT REALLY IS NOT THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING xD it makes my life so much harder than it needs to be lol I once had a prof that wanted me to manually write out binary code which is just a bunch of 1's and 0's and hecc I almost died xD

No ;-; Apparently Comic Sans, as awful as it is lol, helps people with dyslexia and I've found it also helps with numbers -- but the thing is is that Word won't accept formulas in custom fonts so it's actually not particularly helpful for me. I usually just go literally number by single number and hope for the best and get really upset when the best doesn't happen xD

I don't think so, honestly. I usually put "dyslexia" when asked to self-ID any learning disabilities because it's close enough and there was once this poll so I put dyslexia and then they *also* had a dyscalculia option and I was shook xD I got SO excited and changed my answer... but that is a single instance of representation in 26 years, so, uh... yeah.

I put it in my novel! My MC has it -- and it makes her life frustrating and harder than it needs to be, but she's still competent and capable -- and I'm p proud of that representation ngl

Thanks ^-^ It kind of arose organically because I needed my MC to calculate something and *I* struggled with it then was like you know what? She's dyscalculic too

No doubt! I feel like casual representation is really good, you know? Like, being dyscalculic isn't a key part of her character -- it's just a "grrrrr why is this hard?" when she's trying to put some documents in order as an aside haha
