Spend A Million Dollar

20k for myself to pay off student loans.

480k to the local library. It's a very tiny town, pop. 1500 year round. The school is the worst school in the state. Kids graduate high school not knowing how to read, but rather with a list of memorized words they can recognize on sight. Words beyod that, they either struggle to find patterns with or flat out can't read at all. They stop learning math at addition and subtraction. Again, instead of learning how to multiply and divide, they memorize enough to pass a test. If they don't, and sometimes even if they do, they're put into special ed because the school gets more money for special ed students than other ones. As a result, only a few students at the school are not placed into special ed and so are not held back. It's really a bad situation. The librarians are the prime source of education and are responsible for teaching kids basic geography, math, spelling, writing skills, and of course, how to read. They've done and do a lot of work, and could use a break. Because they're a tiny branch, anytime there's budget cuts, they're always at risk of being closed. They already survive mainly off of community donations. While it may not seem like a lot in the long run, it would be a huge relief for them.

250k to the local teen homeless shelter. IT's the only one in the area and it focuses on giving teens a safe place to spend the night, regular meals, and helps them get into college, apply for financial aid and scholarships, and get jobs. The people there really go the extra mile to help the kids and even offer tutoring where they can. At the moment they only have about 14 beds, but that's up from the 9 they had before. Like the library, they too are living off of community donations, and are slowly but steadily getting bigger to house more teens.

250k to the local youth center for LGBTQS youth.

You know what, you got a big heart. No not big HUGE. I wish I really do have millions right now, and I'm sure if I hand you a million it wouldn't go for selfish acts. If I have a million dollar the street kids wouldn't be on the streets anymore. They would surely have a roof to stay under. Specifically, here in my own country. I will build a school for them and so on..it broke my heart seeing the situation you know..I was into poverty too before,,(still am, I guess) but I got to eat the food I loved bcos my Dad was so loving to feed my bratness lol

I deserve a million dollars because I have managed to refrain from killing all the annoyances in my life for four years even when the need was extreme, and because I have yet to keel over from stress and other issues. However, if I got a million dollars, I would donate all my money to hospitals so that they can continue to find cures for diseases and help those in need. And besides, I would likely end up in some sort of hospital anyway, so it would also be beneficial to me, along with the people.

You should donate the money to me because I am an unemployed British super-genius with an eyepatch and a hook for a hand.

I shall use the money to build a laboratory that is dedicated to create an army of giant mutant crabs that spew out acid and shoot lasers from their eyes. These crabs shall be used for construction, as their size and claws will allow them to grab heavy items (such as steel beams), and the acid and lasers will be used to destroy anything in its path (so it can build stuff in forests and cluttered up spaces). I can guarantee you that there shall be no unintended consequences.

Seriously, I'd use all I need to construct my future as a writer, then spend the rest on helping others to become writers and encourage their dreams in any case (such as charity, fundraising -or just giving money- for like, orphanages, and so on)

I don't want to go to the hospital, but in fourteen point five years, I have already been in too many to count. Not just for physical sickness either...
And Hei, we all know it's only a matter of time. Either a psychiatric ward or jail. Or I become a successful business executive. Either way, I'm still going to be evil.
