Hey all, I found this thread on another forum and decided that it was a good idea.

Okay, how it works is that I say a word, and the next poster says the first word that came to mind when they saw the word that I posted. The next person then says the word that came to their mind when they saw the word that the person above thought of.

Example:

Person1: Potato
Person2: Orange
Person3: Popcicle

And it goes on. I've played this before, and I was surprised at the diversity of people's minds.

Everyone knows the rules.

Now we start.
Pickle!

Searching for a signpost

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
