I can't eat calamari... when I drive home I get motion sickness.

Then you only get rice.

We have one other menu. Chikoree wrapped in ham and cheese with potatoes in the oven.

Chikoree? I only know Chicory...

That´s what I meant! I always think you can use chicory and chikoree both in English.

Is that a flower that enhances the flavour of coffee?

Yeah, but I don´t know what part the thing is, that we eat.

The stem most probably... I went to the biggest factory in the country during a school trip. Supposedly its sugar is much sweeter than a sugar cane and much healthier. France is the top global producer and South Africa used to produce the second most but unfortunately due to economics and droughts it has been severely affected.

That sounds interesting.

So we offer that to eat today.

Okay... my parents don't like it. But as long as the potato is wedges and heavily salted then we can have a great meal.

We can offer a "Do-it-yourself-cooking-evening" if you like.
