This topic is for members to recommend books to each other. This is a locked thread, but you can PM me or any other member of the resources crew your thoughts, in this format:

If you liked *insert title here*
You'll love *insert title here*
Because...

The reasons can be as long as you want, but they must be there! If you don't tell us why you are recommending the book (or poem) to people who liked another book, then your recommendation will not be posted here.

You can also PM us with questions such as, "I liked this book, what else can you suggest that I might also like?" The question will be posed here and members can PM us with a recommendation for that user, to be posted in this topic.
So go forth and recommend!
Matt.

If You Liked "Twilight" you'll like "Wiked Lovely - Melissa Marr" because: It's about 2 Faeries who stalk this young girl who lives with her friend Seth. They're repelled by steel in faerie form but have taken on human form to stalk Aislinn. It's a romance and fantasy genre, with great suspense, and draws you in with the relationships they develop, and you feel as if you form a connection with characters. It's a kind of battle between love and being human.
In a nutshell.

If you liked "Midnighters Trilogy" you'll love "The Supernaturalist- Eoin Colfer" because it's about a fourteen year old who escapes from his abusive orphanage, finding three others who share his ability to see these blue parasites. So they work together to determine the purpose of the supernatural creatures invisible to most humans.

I can't remember why I made this a locked topic, so I'm unlocking it - just post your recommendations here. *scratches head and wanders off*
Matt.

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

You want a good read? This book is the KING of all books and my now all time favorite, and I read an insanely huge amount of books.

It's Patrick's first novel yet it is so good that.......there aren't words to adequately describe it. There is an expected two more to come in 'The Kingkiller' chronicles. I recommend this mainly for fantasy lovers but other also. The main character is absolutely amazing as is everything else. You will never regret reading this book, even if you don't like it, (which i personally guarantee you will) then know it has been said that Patrick has gone from a nobody to international bestselling author and the new king of epic fantasy so it will be like the new, and vastly improved Lord of the Rings. People sometimes read it just to have read it.

I recommend The Name of the Wind because , it is absolutely flawless and if you like any epic fantasy or similar you will love it too.

READ IT! READ IT NOW!

P.S:Sooooo good.

P.P.S:Soooooooooooo goooddddd....sooo good.....read it...

:smt040 SO GOOD! :smt040

Sorry this doesn't quite stick to the correct format Matt, but if you read or have read this, you will understand.
