For anyone who likes funny books with an interesting plot then I recommend A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore. He also wrote the book about Biff, Jesus's best friend who got cut out off the bible.

The book is about Charlie Asher, a used good seller whose wife dies during the birth of his daughter. He is then sucked into the world of death merchants who have to collect the soul vessels of dead people and keep the darkness out of San Francisco. Little does Charlie know the darkness will come and an epic battle for supreme death hood is about to begin.

I really liked this book and found it hilarious. Charlie is a very likable character and the supporting characters, like Ms. Ling and his lesbian sister make for an entertaining and quick read.

I love funny books, although this one sounds a little dark and out of the ordinary, I might just go get it from the library sometime! :D

This sounds great! I'll definitely check for it next time I'm at the bookstore.
