I read this book the other day after my friend recommended it.

I still don't know what I think about it. It has no dialouge- only reported speech in the first part. It's about a futuristic war, although we are never told the year.

I did like it although it's ........odd.

Has anyone else read it?

I bought it a few years to read on holiday, which I think was the only reason that I every got through it at all.

I quite liked the whole civil war terrorrism type part of it, but it was they thing between Daisy and Edmond put me off a little, that and the whole implied 'talking to animals and people' jazz.

It was okay, but I don't think I'll be reading it again.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)
