My youngest sister read The Witches for the first time last week and loved it. And since it was out, I started reading it again. Now I remember why it scared me so much.
But it's good stuff anyway.

If I were to pick my favorite children's novel by Dahl, I would most likely have to pick between The Witches and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
As for his adult works, I would choose Switch Bitch.

anyone read "Revolting Rhymes"? they're hysterical, he takes some of the famous fairy tales (red riding hood, cinderella, snow white) and completely misconstrues them.
