So, was the final warning any good?

I've just started reading mr3. Still haven't figured out who the Voice is. Anyway, I heard that james patterson (or whoever wrote the book) took special care with the content and language so that younger kinds could read it. If he wanted to do that, though, why didn't he do that with the other maximum ride books? why did he wait for the fourth book? I mean, that's, like, unconsistant.

No, actually the Final Warning was pretty much a huge disappointment to the oh-so-wonderful series.

I don't think JP re-worded it for kids because, as you said, that would be pointless considering the others. And it really wasn't any different that way. The disappointments were that it didn't really move the plot along at all, it was all global warming save the world, and it was short. When I re-read it, I really started to think it was a ghostwriter. Which would suck.

I'm gonna give it a shot, since I liked his other books.

What I think it's all leading up to is the final battle.... are you prepared??? The next Ice Age!!! And NO I did not think the Voice was Jeb. You will never ever ever guess who (at least who I think) the Voice is.
Admiration: Our polite recognition of another's resemblance to ourselves.

Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

Confidence: the feeling a person has before he fully understands the situation.

Shin: A device for finding furniture in the dark.

Oh good, but now I want to know who you think it is... please? Or do I want to know... Is it Angel?

The next Ice Age, I could see that I guess. I still think it's a ghostwriter though. Hmm...

Well it is fun to guess about these things at least!

It's Fang!

Wow, that would be weird.
“We’re still here,” he says, his voice cold, his hands shaking. “We know how to be invisible, how to play dead. But at the end of the day, we are still here.” ~Dax

Teacher: "What do we do with adjectives in Spanish?"
S: "We eat them!"

It annoyed me how very preachy it became. I hope the next one makes up for it!

Fang? God, I hope not!

I've reade all of them, and I think their brilliant!
The last one *did* become rather prechy, which kind of ruined it, because of all the cliffhangers, but still It was great. I cant wait until the next one! (Tere is going to be another, right?)
And some of the things are driving me crazy! All the cliffhangers!
