I'll have to find these at my local library.

I quite enjoyed the first in his Midnighter series. He's a good writer.

Scott Westerfeld is one of my favorite writers, he's excellent =)

That's exactly what I was thinking! There were a bunch of things in Pretties that I disagreed with, but it wasn't a horrible novel. But, when I got to Specials, I was forcing myself to finish it, just so I knew what happened to Tally.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Uglies was a great book, Pretties was great too but there were so many times where I wanted to stop Tally from doing some of the things she did. Specials...I can't even recall it very well. I was forcing myself to finish it too, but the ending wasn't so bad. There was a lot of action though and I found it hard to keep track of what was happening.

My friend read that book, and she was telling me all about it. I think it sounds really cool, so I'll have to read it sometime.
Calvin : You can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. You have to be in the right mood.
Hobbes : What mood is that?
Calvin : Last-minute panic.

You should, alleycat! The series is most excellent ^_^

And on that note... who's read Extras? :D I liked it very much. Especially the face ranks and the concept of kicking videos. Finally someone's parodying YouTube.

Ew

sorry

but ew.
i loved the way they were written and it was a good story line.
but ew.
i haven't read all the way through the first one yet... bored me to death.
So i tried second, then third, then extras. Extras was the best.
2nd and 3rd were alright i guess-i managed to finish them but they were so boring i almost cried when i realised Extras was the only book in the house i had not read.

Boring.
Horribly horribly boring.
Ew.
Sorry but they are the nastiest books i've read.
Ever.

For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion.
