I am just in the middle of this book and Jonathan has just kissed Alanna for the first time. Does he know she is a girl? Its kinda confusing... because George is kissing her and I know he knows she is a girl but does Jonathan know?

Because she was trying to put Big Thor to sleep and she fainted then she woke up three days later and Jonathan leaned forwards and kissed her on the lips... Er, would a guy do that to a guy? Even though she is a girl!
Oh maybe when he was healing her he saw that she was a girl... You know chest and stuff!

If you know could you let me know unless its like a key point in the book that I have to find out myself and stuff.

Thanks,
Genevieve

Yes, he knows. If you read the first book, you'll remember he found out when they fought the bad guys at the end. (he sees her all naked while he's at it)

Yuppers. remember, they go to the Black City and face those Old Ones or w/e they were called. They expose her for being a girl in an attempt to weaken her and the prince's chances. But John gives her his shirt and they fight anyways. ^_^

George is the best. ^_^ They're kid is cool too (she has her own sequel! I'm re-reading it right now). And oficially, they actually have...3 kids. =P He's cool though, even as a dad.

Totally!
It kinda freaks me out that she is 16 and he is like 30 or something and they are like married.

Yah remember we where talking about the books "Tricksters Choice/Trickster Queen" last night. I decided to read the second Alanna book first then get Tricksters Choice then read it in order =]

lol. But isn't George...like 17 when she first arrives in Corus. *counts* o_O He shouldn't be more than 7 years older than her! >_> lol. Now I'll have to go back and read the Alanna series to check.

Alanna, Daine, Keladry and Aly all rock. Though if you think Alanna and Goerge is bad, you should see Daine and the guy SHE marries. XD

Beats me... I always thought George was older XD Just goes to show how out of it I am!
I only own the second book *tear* I will get the first one and the two others ones as well... Just as soon as I get the money.

No, I think Alanna and George is good. Its just kinda odd ages.
I love Fateful though he totally rocks! Jonathan is cool, but Big Thor is just to lovable to not cry when he dies *tear*

Ooh! I read these a while ago. It goes a bit fast now that I've read them for the third time, but the other series have a bit more depth. Have you read the Circle quartet?

Who is Big Thor? I don't remember him..... :) Which is odd, since I just read them.

I like Daine the best. Aly is a cool charry too, though.

If you remember, in the book they have that war where the two sides are separated by a river and Alanna gets kidnapped. Big Thor was one of the regular soldiers who befriended Alanna right from the beginning. Very fatherly, she liked him a lot.

Jonathan drove me nuts... I never liked him as a character, he was rather whiny. I'm so glad it's her and George!

Aw, I love Tamora Pierce!

haha, Dreami, I agree, Jon was kind of annoying. A little too over-wrought, really. George, now, he was cool!

(oh, and I loved the first Circle Quartet, but I don't remember much about the second quartet)

George is the best. Jon's charm ran out after a while, especially when he started getting all moody. Though I liked Liam too, most of the time. =P
