Damian - Herman Hesse

I often wondered about aesthetic values and meanings but I never did anything with those thoughts. there were mere linger feelings that couldn't be suppressed.

In the diligence of my readings, I stumbled on "Damian" by "Herman Hesse".

the book is an autobiographical book. Presented through the eyes of a German average teenager. Emile.

He tells his dramatic life story and tells us about the only person who gave him access to a life less ordinary. A life full of aesthetic thoughts, predicaments. life รก la Art.

Damian's Existentialistic Views are wonderful. A true beauty!

Once you start reading it, like me, you will be thrown into this strange world of aestheticism and reality.
It's a book that can change your life and it certainly changed mine.

Herman Hesse won the nobelprize of literature in 1946 and without reluctance and pretentious hyping.
I can assure you that this book is something original. something out-of-this-world

If you read this, i'll bet you want to read more of him.

Sounds like a really good book. I'll add it to my list.
