This was an essay I submitted for kicks. I got a 90. I don't think I deserved it. If you wanna grade it for kicks, sure, but it attracted no attention, so..... :P

I'm sorry, but it's so long, I didn't read all of it. I stopped when you said that Anne Bradstreet was the first known female author. That's not true. I don't know if anyone wrote before this, but the earliest female writer I know of is Murasaki Shikibu, who wrote the first ever fiction book. She lived in ancient Japan. Like I said, there might have been a female writer before her, there actually probably was.
