Welcome to Squills, the official news bulletin of the Young Writers Society! What will you find here? Tons of interesting news about YWS, feature articles about writing, art and the world of humanities, member interviews, shameless plugs and opinionated columns. And where will all of this come from? Not only from the staff but also from you! Yes, as long as your item can be labeled with any of the above mentioned articles and it answers to YWS standards, rules and regulations, you can post 'em here. Review Day Tomorrow!

Yay! It's almost end-of-the-month time! And what do proud YWSers do during that time? Why, participate in the heart-pounding, spine-cracking, word-barfing Review Day! What's the RD? It's a day where no one is allowed to post a literary work. What would YWSers do then? Review! Review! Review! And with a new review recording feature which you can use to boast you RD status and two massive reviewing teams, this RD will be a FANTASTIC bout!

Have you gotten your team assignment yet? You better do so you can start forming your team plans!

The Minstrel's Workshop
SparkofDoubt wrote:What is the Minstrel's Workshop, you may ask? Well, it is in fact, a workshop dedicated to teaching you the beginnings of song writing! Yes, that's right!
Just like the Minstrels in medieval times, you will be learning the beauty of song writing in a just over an hour long workshop! We'll teach you how to format your song, how to make your song flow and grow inside the story, and we'll even play a couple of really fun games! We only have ten spots for the apprentices of music, so please, hurry and sign up. The details are as follows.

The Workshop will be hosted by GeeLyria and SparkOfDoubt on May 26th 11:00 PM GMT. Some handy time conversions below (And also, this fabulous converter).
6:00 PM EST
5:00 PM CRTL
4:00 PM MTN

Uh, Lisa, the whole reason we have elected officials is so we don't have to think all the time. Just like that rainforest scare a few years back: our officials saw there was a problem and they fixed it, didn't they?
