Young Writers Society

The thread you've stumbled into is the equivalent of a YWS newspaper, with each post in this thread being a news article. The focus of this paper is to give out a summary on the happenings of YWS at any given day and special features which tell about the new trends in YWS and current events. This feature runs all week long, featuring special coverage during events and certain occasions.

All members are welcome to submit their own news items. Keep in mind that all postings must comply with the YWS rules.

Review Day Unsuccessful for the 2nd Time This Year

The goal of 600 review for March's Review Day was not achieved by over a hundred YWSers available that time.

The same happened during the January Review Day. Many YWSers see the lack of members willing to review and lend a hand. Others think that the incompleteness of announcements and preparations for the Review Day was to blame.

The teams weren't established earlier, so our team didn't have a chance to plan things out.

That was a little disappointing! thought we would make it!

Some still sees this loss as normal due to the Holiday, and that under consideration, YWSers did actually well.

Personally, I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get the Green Room cleared out. But seeing as it was Easter Sunday, and people were busy with social engagements, I think we did remarkably well!

April's Showering Poetry!

Yes, April is here! And we all know what April has in store for us! No, not rain! Poems! This month, activities in and out of YWS are all aimed to raise appreciation, awareness and love for poetry!
