Welcome to Squills, the YWS news bulletin.

This thread is the equivalent of a YWS newspaper, with each post in this thread being a news article. The focus of this paper is on the happenings of YWS at any given day, but members are welcome to submit their own news items. Keep in mind that all postings must comply with the YWS rules.

Submissions will be taken over the span of the day. Tomorrow, this thread will be locked and a new one will take its place. This feature runs M-F, and on special occasions.

YWS Cup First Round Winners announced!

Second Round Begins

Tensions have been high over the last week for reviewers involved in the coveted YWS Cup as they sought to review more than their competition. Today, Firestarter announced the unofficial standings.

Kyllorac defeated StellaThomas in a 15-8 victory
Lauren2010 narrowly defeated Alteran in a close 3-2 victory.
FermentingFruit narrowly defeated guineapiggirl in a 16-15 victory.
Audy trounced ash211 in a 9-3 victory.

Firestarter also announced the beginning of the second round, with the following match-ups.

zephion versus Griffinkeeper
EnchantedPanda versus znale1
PenguinAttack versus Rydia

Squills wishes all the competitors luck as they enter the second round of matches.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle.
