Iggy Underneath!
Today, let's try to know a thing or two from our very wonderful featured member, Ignorance!

1.) How does it feel to be a featured member?

It.. It's wow. I was completely and utterly caught off guard! It's such an amazing honor to know that I was nominated and that majority of the staff voted for me. It's a great feeling, knowing that staff is appreciative of my contribution to YWS! I'm so glad to have been chosen, and I love what I do as a mentor, so this is such a great thing for me.

2.) What do you think are the reasons for your nomination for the spotlight?

Well, in retrospect, I wouldn't have thought I did anything worthwhile to YWS, but Rydia said in her thread that I was a major help with The Buddy System. I always try to welcome each newcomer to the site by posting in their introduction threads and on their walls, and lately we have been getting some more newbies to come over to the club and sign up. That has mainly been my contributions to YWS - The Buddy System, and my mentoring job, and I love it!

3.) What help could being featured give to you?

It makes me feel special, appreciated, and so honored! I'm so glad to help out around the site, and my biggest hope is that when people see why I am featured, it will inspire them to join The Buddy System and become a mentor themselves, or help recruit all the newcomers.

4.) How do you think could other YWSers be featured?

Review, review, review! Giving helpful tips and corrections to those new submissions, getting active with some of the great things YWS has to offer, and show your dedication to this site! Also, helping out with the newcomers would be a greatly appreciated thing, seeing as how we were all new, once, and were more than likely lost around this huge site. There are many ways people show their dedication to YWS, and every way is important, whether as an active Storybooker, a mentor, a reviewer, etc., so don't give up and keep working hard! Show your love for YWS, and maybe you, too, will, be featured.

Today's spotlight piece is Do You Trust Me? by beckiw. Inspired by one of the writing challenges on Writing Gooder, this is a fun little snippet of some unknown story world where we discuss all the ways which the character Zack might kill somebody... intriguing! And very funny and strange. I for one really want to read a bit more about it.
