Lost and Discovered: Chapter 1
While the council among the kidnappers went on, Persephone was in such distress when she returned home to no daughter waiting for her and instead an unconscious Oliver on the highly polished floor of the throne room. Blood was everywhere. Ignoring the fact that Hades wasn’t aloud on Mount Olympus, she dragged him all the way up there for an emergency council, with Hades securing Oliver to the chariot.
About the same time, Poseidon and his wife were returning home after a game of destroying boats of enemy pirates of his favorite sailors group. They soon came upon a disturbing scene. Mermaid bodies floated lifelessly in the water near the entrance to the underwater palace, blood slowly rising up from their bodies. Quickly glancing at each other, Amphitrite and Poseidon swam through the gates and up into the nursery. No one was there, just a destroyed baby room with no infant in it. Summoning his sea chariot, Poseidon grabbed the nearly lifeless body of a bodyguard that was supposed to be watching his son, helped his wife into it and rode of to Olympus.
Later the two brothers, their wives, and employees ran into each other at the steps to Olympus.
“Little brother! You look like you just went for another run in the Vortex of Fire! Either that or your asking for another one! You know you’re not aloud up here!” shouted Poseidon as he carefully walked up the steps.
“I know, but Seph here strangled me into the chariot! But you’ll hear the story later! What about you?” came the reply.
“Hold on.”
When Poseidon’s party finally caught up with Hades’ he recounted back to the events they discovered, then they reached the golden gates of Olympus. Persephone, in all her rage threw the doors open. The room they entered was the meeting room, there every god of the Council was seated in their rightful place, talking about what they want done and what not.
“Hades! What is he doing here? I thought he was banished after the second war!”
The whispers fluttered throughout the room, each reaching the sleeping form of Zeus and the stern one of Hera, but Zeus was a light sleeper, jumping up at the name of Hades, he grabbed a handful of lightning. Making Hades immediately hid behind Poseidon and Persephone.
“Hades! Face me like a man and I’ll let you tell me why you are here without an important reason and I promise to let you leave unharmed!” thundered Zeus.
“Hi to you to Zeus. We are here on a very important business so put the bolts down and listen for once to us. Hades and my daughter has gone missing. When we entered the throne room there was blood everywhere, and we found Oliver unconcious on the marble floors.” Said Persephone.
Continuing, Hades stepped in front and said,” And so Poseidon doesn’t have to go through any pain of announcing his problem I’ll do it.” Taking a deep breath he told everyone the events of what had happened in Atlantis.
"Wait, how do you know this Hades?"
"Po, told me before we entered and if I must remind you, I'm the god of knowledge, I'm supposed to know these things. It's hard to explain...Um, once it happens I know about it, for the most part that is."
“Alright, now let us hear out the witnesses.”
