Chapter Two of my NaNo...

CHAPTER TWO:
A small knocking noise came from down stairs, tapping on a door.
“Oh god, the pizza’s here.” I said, while pulling myself from his grasp. My heart tore apart when I had to leave him, “I’ll be right back, and meet me in the study.”
I turned around, and shuffled out of the room, taking my time to climb down the stair case. The lounge, the colour scheme; lavender and silver, warmed my heart with memories of my childhood. I past the chair that my father always sits it, you could still smell the cigarettes that he smokes.
And mothers perfume was lingering in the room, I stepped over to the coffee table to pick up the money Anthony had put down.
Another knock came from the front door.
“I’m coming” I called out and headed to the door.
“Hi, here’s your pizza.” The pizza guy said when I opened the door.
“Um, thanks.”
“Have a nice day” The guy said and gave me a warmly smile.
The door snapped shut when I pushed it softly. I slyly took a look at the pizza, sure enough it was perfect looking, and smelt delicious also. Sneakily, I took a slice and shoved it in my mouth. Not too hot, nor cold, the flavours melted in my mouth.
Come on Madeline, keep it together, I silently said to myself.
My lungs squeezed as I took a deep breath to relax myself, and walked into the study. Anthony was sitting on the computer chair, spinning around. His golden hair flung around, and shaped his face. He looked like an angel, laughing and smiling.
“And what do you think you’re doing?” I said at him, while laughing at his expression. His cheeks went bright red and his mouth went into a little o shape.
“Woops,” He slowly said, “Oh, yum, pizza.” He reached over to grab a slice.
“No pizza for young boys who spin around on chairs all day.” I teased him, while shaking my finger at him.
He attempt at grabbing another slice, but I slapped his hand away.
“Ouch!” He said, rubbing his hand, “That hurt me, mummy.”
He sat there pretending to be crying, spun around and started sulking.
“Aw, poor duddoms.” I went over and gave him a little hug, “Does baby have a booboo?”
He slowly nodded his head.
“Aw, let mummy kiss it better.”
He spun around eagerly, his eyes shone with enjoyment and laughter. His hand un-raveled, and I bent over to give a soft warm kiss on the top of his hand.
“Can I have pizza now mummy?”
“Of course, I can’t let my baby starve, can I?” I told him, and gave him a slice.
“This is yummy, mummy.”
“Okay you can stop now, we’ve got to do our English.”
“Stop what mummy? What’s English?”
“Shut up!”
“Potty word, mummy, that’s a potty word!”
We both fell on the floor in fits of laughter. My chest ached, along with my stomach.
“Help, I can’t breathe.” Burst of laughter, “I’m laughing too hard.” My chest tightened. “Ouch it hurts.”
“I know right.” He fell silent.
“Anthony” I rolled over to face him.
His round blue eyes were staring at me, almost like they we drinking everything inside of me, it’s like he can see through me.
His lips slowly separated, as he was stuck inside his day dream. I studied the curves and texture of his lips. He lent in slowly, giving me another woof of his aftershave once again. This time it hit the back of my throat, and stung it. One thousand bees felt like they are inside my throat, flying around.
A frog, it felt like, was wedged into my throat. Preventing me from talking, I can’t, I’m frozen.
His lips separated more, as they became closer to mine. Every single part inside of me jumped, as his lips softly touched mine, we kissed slowly at first. Our lips danced with each other, sending my body into space, making everything numb.
My heart pounded faster and faster, surely he could here it beating against my ribs. I closed my eyes, memories fade and thoughts vanish.
We sat in a field of pansies, and wild flowers. Anthony stared at me with his eyes, telling me that I look beautiful today. He gave me a quick kiss, and whispered “I love you” into my ear.
A grin crossed my face, his eyes full of delight.
“Happy eighteenth birthday, Madie.”
He pulled out a small present from behind his back.
“It’s not much.”
I opened the box to find a blue dragonfly necklace.
“Oh its beautiful,” I whispered, “Sapphire, my birthstone, thank you.”
I kissed him.
Everything tore away, he vanished, and I sat alone. No flowers, no necklace
. Nothing.
Just complete darkness surrounded me, and slowly faded back into my study.
I realized how much I’ve wanted this, wanted him.
He became more intense with his kissing and our lips were one. I let out a soft little moan, causing him to pull away.
“I lo-” He shook his head, “Oh god, I’m so sorry.”
“Anthon-“
“Hush” He put his finger on my lips, and stared at me with wild eyes. “No one can know about this, okay Madeline? This never happened, nothing ever will happen. We’ll just continue as normal, and you won’t tell anyone about this. I’m sorry; I hate myself for doing this to you.”
“Then don’t, stay.” I told him, almost in tears.
“I can’t, look I love you, but as a friend. I’m sure you feel the same too.”
He stayed sitting, staring into space, avoiding my eyes.
“Anthony, oh Anthony bu-”
“No.” He screamed. “I have to go, sorry.”
He stood up and ran out of the room.
“Anthony, wait! Please!”
“No, I’m sorry. I won’t do that again. Let’s just forget about it, okay?”
Salty tears ran down my face, how dare he, kiss me then run off like that. I went over to a photo frame, the photo was Anthony and I at the park when were we’re only five. I picked it up, the tears ran fast down my face. I hate him for doing this, I threw the picture on the floor and ran to my bedroom.
My heart is snapped into two separate pieces, shattered.
He’s killed me, every single cell inside me, is dead. I don’t think I’ll be able to face him again, but I’m going to have to. We live next to each other, and we both are in the same English class.

I turned around and =(no need for a comma) shuffled out of the room, taking my time to climb down the staircase =('staircase' is one word). The lounge, the colour scheme; lavender and silver, warmed my heart with memories of my childhood =(This bit doesn't really make sense). I passed the chair that my father always sits in. My lungs squeezed as I took a deep breath to relax myself. Then I=('Then' makes a bit more sense) walked into the study. Anthony was sitting on the computer chair, spinning around. His golden hair flung=(maybe choose a different adjective) around, shaping his face. He looked like an angle, laughing and smiling.

“Anthony,” I rolled over to face him.

A grin crossed my face, his eyes full of delight =(do you mean, 'a grin crossed my face, my eyes full of delight' or do you mean 'a grin crossed his face, his eyes full of delight'? The sentence you have doesn't seem to make sense, but if it is meant to be like that maybe put 'A grin crossed my face seeing his eyes full of delight'.)

I opened the box to find a blue dragonfly necklace. =(Describe it! This is a perfect oppotunity! :smt001)

Ok, not bad, I think the story is picking up a plot, but this chapter is starved of description and overfed with dialect! Try to balence it out and remember to check for typos and grammar problems. Copy and paste it into Microsoft Word, it helps.

I think it's a good chapter plotwise, but make sure you keep it original. Do describe more things though, describe the photo of Madie and Anthony at the park, describe the dragonfly necklace, describe the study - all these oppotunities are going to waste.

Still, you've clearly got talent, keep working on the little things and keep writing! I'm going to keep reading!
Hope I don't sound harsh. :)

Too much talking, but not enough details. But I love the story, great foundation and great story line. I really like your characters and Maddie's need for him. Makes me want to fall in love! lol

Firstly, thank you both. I'm going to work on it after I've finished writing.

Well I wrote this from my head, I haven't really experienced love or kissing. :|
