Hello again! I've come for more!

Before her brakes, Sam visited the seriously wounded she’d supervised on that first night.
Do you mean "breaks"? It would make more sense to me that way...

She didn’t look to happy to be working ten minutes passed her shift,
Should be past, actually.

Ooooh, and so comes the romance!

You're doing a great job! I already like Sam and her protective feelings toward the little Russian boy. I'd like very much to read more!

By the way, have you ever seen Pearl Harbor? Your descriptions remind me of a scene in that movie. I'm just curious.

Well, thanks for the great read!

"Man needs music, literature, and painting--all those oases of perfection that make up art--to compensate for the rudeness and materialism of life." -Fernando Botero

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
