Chapter 4: A night to remember.
When we made it to the club we were able to enter easily. No one actually asked me for my ID, because I looked like I was around 26.
If they only knew.
The club was filled with people, the music was loud and there were, actually more girls than guys.
“Let’s sit” said Leah.
I nodded.
We found a table a bit hidden and sat down.
Suddenly I didn’t know what to say, the environment was a little uncomfortable and Leah just stared at me, she didn’t say anything. Hell, what I had gotten myself into?.
I had the feeling this night would be very long.
“So, have you ever been to a club before?” she asked.
“Nah, first time, how ‘bout you?”
“I came to this club once, when I dated Sam, that’s about it”.
“Cool” I didn’t know what else to say.
Damn it! What was going on?, usually Leah didn’t shut up, but now, she wouldn’t talk at all. What the hell?.
“Do you wanna go to the bar Jake?” Leah asked after a few seconds of silence.
“Sure let’s go” I said almost eager.
“So what do you think?, pretty cool huh?”.
“Yeah, I like it, it feels like we are going to have fun” I lied.
“Don’t lie to me Jake” she made a face, she was able to tell when I was lying.
“What?” I asked.
“You think this is awkward as much as I do”.
Well. Good thing she felt the same way I did.
“Okay, you are right” I admitted. “Let’s just drink something and talk”.
“Talk? Are you kidding? We are in a club, we have to dance” she smiled.
Dance? Why didn’t I think about this before?, of course I was going to dance, I mean I was in a club, but I had no idea how to. Panic started to invade my body.
I swear I was about to faint.
“Jeshh Jake, calm down, I’ve seen you dance bef-”.
“Yeah, when I was five” I interrupted her.
“Oh please, you know how to dance, trust me okay, I wouldn’t dance with you if you didn’t”.
“True” I agreed.
“Hey, what would you like to have tonight?” said the barman.
“I’d like a Smirnoff ice” Leah told the barman.
Then he looked at me, waiting.
“Same” I said quickly.
I had no idea about alcohol, the only thing I had drank in my life has been bear with Quil and Embry, and I hardly drank because I wasn’t felling good that day.
I hope this thing tastes good.
“Here you go” said the guy and gave us two glasses full of Smirnoff.
Immediately Leah took hers and started drinking, well, what the hell? What could I lose? And if I didn’t like it I’ll just get a beer.
I took the glass in my hands and took a sip of the drink.
It wasn’t bad at all. It actually tasted really good!.
Suddenly I was drinking very fast and finished my drink in 30 seconds.
“Another one please” I told the barman.
“Here” he said giving me the drink.
“Do you like it?” asked Leah.
“Love it!”.
“Yeah, it’s my favorite drink” she smiled. “Oh I like this song, wanna dance?”.
“Sure” I said finishing quickly my drink.
And then we hit the dance floor. And I was actually having fun, I was jumping all around and I wasn’t dancing that bad. A few seconds later, Leah put one arm on my neck and stared moving quite sexy.
Mmm, I think I might actually have a lot of fun tonight.
We danced three songs in a row, and then took a break to drink and talk.
I drank 3 glasses more, and so did she.
“I love this club” she said “I’m having so much fun!”
“Yeah me too!” I said as I finished the fourth glass.
“You are actually a lot of fun to hang out with Jake”.
“Thanks you too, I thought I wouldn’t have such a good time, but it’s amazing!” I laughed.
“Whooaaa I love this song!” Leah yelled.
“Me too!” I yelled, laughing again.
Okay, there was something wrong with me. The whole room was moving, and I couldn’t find my balance, I also laugh at nothing, but I couldn’t help myself, everything Leah said was so funny!
“Hey, let’s have another drink and go dancing” she yelled again.
“Sure, but I want this time something a little stronger…can I have a shot of Vodka please” I told the..umm..well the person that was in the bar. I couldn’t tell if it was a girl or a guy.
“Two please”
“Right away” said ….the person.
“Oh Jake, I’m so glad I came with you!” yelled Leah, smiling.
“Me too!, I’m having so much fun, and I have to say you look very good!, I couldn’t believe it was you when you waked…walked to the car” I laughed.
“You look very good too., actually kinda hot” she smiled and bit her lip.
“You too, hot and sexy” I smiled.
“Here” said the bar-person, and gave us the shots.
I looked at Leah and smiled.
She smiled back, and bit her lip, and then drank her shot.
I did too.
“Let’s dance” she said taking my hand.
“Sure” I laughed.
We got to the dance floor and started dancing, but this time, Leah was very close, closer than she had ever been. I could feel her breath on my neck and the heat that radiated from her skin.
I looked down at her, and each second I was more eager to touch her lips, to touch her face, to put my arms around her.
And so I did.
I wrapped my arms around her tiny waist, and we got even closer.
I touched her forehead with mine, if I bended I would kiss her.
And that was exactly what I wanted to do.
“Jake” she whispered.
That did it.
I bended and put my lips over hers, kissing her softly first, but then stronger, fiercer. I held her very hard, not wanting her to back away from me.
And she didn’t, she responded the kiss as strong as I did, and her hands were suddenly touching my face.
A little moan came down her throat. And made me kiss her even harder.
All of a sudden, she backed away, with a smile on her face.
I took her on my arms to carry her so I didn’t have to bend, and started kissing her again, this time, more eager.
“The best night ever” she whispered between kisses.
“Definitely” I agreed.
