The Changeling rolled to the side, clearly still confused. Kira didn't seem to be targeting them anymore. Why?

As Kira got close to Banyaka he dissipated again and appeared behind Banyaka,slicing his side and immediately cauterizing the wound, setting aflame his clothes, then dissipated again for another teleporting attack.

Oh, that's why.
Banyaka winced as the burn smoothed over, batting out the last of the flames.
Why's he always got to ruin my clothes? Great. Now I can't shield myself, because he'll just teleport inside. I'll have to anticipate the next attack...

Kira summoned floating arrows that stayed stationary for a second while Kira made another teleporting attack, then fired down at Banyaka. "In duels, the faster caster usually wins, Banyaka."

"True," The Changeling whipped around, casting a shield just in time. The arrows bounced harmlessly off the silver runes, giving Banyaka an idea. Their shield flickered and died, leaving them standing in the open. C'mon...take the bait...
Kira dissipated in another dark puff, leaving Banyaka alone in the field. The Changeling stood completely still, waiting. And then--
Piff. The slightest wisp of wind stirred the hairs on the back of Banyaka's neck. Making no hesitation, they whipped around, slashing with the knife hidden up their sleeve. Long gashes of red erupted on Kira's torso as he stumbled back. Seeing the opening, Banyaka summoned another bit of magic. Thick orange chains sprang from the ground, wrapping around Kira's limbs. The Changeling flicked their fingers and the chains pulled taut, binding Kira to the ground.

Kira grunted as he hit the ground, then runes began to glow on both of his wrists then the runes released a blast that nullified all nearby magic for a split second, disabling the chains, allowing Kira to teleport high into the air again. "You wanted to see real magic right?" Kira asked as he held his hand high and summoned multiple creatures before he began chanting in an ancient language, making the sky grow darker as it began to rain.

she looked at the sky and put her hood on "interesting.." she muttered, making sure she wasn't heard, she might have to leave soon because this battle seemed to be getting more intense by the minute, but she wanted to stay a little longer to study more

Banyaka spread their arms as water poured from the sky, sinking into the ground. They began to chant softly, the grass waving in tune with the words. Soon it started to grow, stretching hungrily toward the clouds. Green tendrils rippled back and forth, straining upwards. Banyaka smiled as they disappeared, hidden by hundreds of undulating green blades.

Kira watched as the creatures he summoned were cut to shreds, and just before the blades reached him he finished his chant, creating a huge burst of wind around him pushing the blades. As Kira moved his hand to point at Banyaka the sky let loose a thunderous roar. "This, is magic. This, is strength. This, is my will and conviction to the magic arts." he shouted a word from the ancient language and lighting poured from the sky, striking down all around as an electrical re-creation the Shenlong dragon shot down from the sky, barreling towards Banyaka.

she stepped back as the lightning poured from the sky, her eyes lit up with awe, she never saw something as beautiful as this, but on another note, she also doesn't wanna fight the one who summoned this power and she pulled her hood down, sitting down, watching with amusement

Banyaka flicked their fingers and the grass was set ablaze. Kira watched as the fire congealed into a long, snakelike creature with huge, beating wings. An amphithere. The fiery creature roared, a sound like stones hissing as they melt into magma. Then it lunged forward, slamming into the Shenlong with immense force. The resulting collision sent a shockwave through the field, rippling along the mountaintops.

she stumbled a bit but she kept her balance "hm..thats a common attack..the Shenlong is a higher attack then the Snakelike one..that won't do much damage to the Shenlong.." she said quietly as she watched she then looked at her hand and a thorny rose sprouted out of her hand, this is all she knew how to do, she might have to fight the elf one day, but not now, she then put her attention back to the battle in front of her

As Kira stood there floating in the sky, his tentacles moving around as if they had a mind of their own, and the sky letting loose multiple bolts of lighting, resulting in the lighting illuminating an apparition of a creature appeared behind Kira, though it was obviously not there. The creature's mouth was covered in tentacles and its wings stretched far across the plains, its giant body could cover 3 towns, As the apparition leaned in, Kira's eyes seemed to have the same glow the creature's eyes had. And with every flash of light the creature seemed to get closer.

The Shenlong dragon wrapped its arms around the Amphithere's wings, pushing it down to the ground before letting loose a fierce breath of lighting at the Ampithere's face.

"woah" she was surprised at this point, she looked around to see if she could find something to climb, everything else was fried she then found a tree that she was hiding under, it seemed this area wasn't touched, she then climbed the tree to the top, she got a better view from here, the only danger is for her to be seen, but she didn't care if she got seen, she was too interested in the battle to do so and she continued watching it

Kira noticed movement in a nearby tree and turned to it, the creature turning with him. "There's someone over there, Ares, keep them safe." He said to his spirit who jumped off of him and grew into a large, menacing, spirit and ran towards the tree that had been moving. Kira raised his hand into the air again, beginning to summon another shenlong dragon.
