This SB is a collaboration between myself, Tigersprite, and Shrubbery. It will start soon, and if you're interested, you can reserve a spot by commenting below.

The Concept

Dr. Aiden had been obsessed with the paranormal ever since she contracted an incurable cancer. She believed ghosts hold the secret to immortality, and she captured them by means of a machine she invented called the Dreamwalker which allowed her to travel to their world of Darkheim, and bring the ghosts back into the human world. She performed experiments on these ghosts for sometime, but her illness finally caught up with her and she is dead.

The Ghosts have escaped from the confines of her lab, and try to return to Darkheim. Unfortunately, Spectres--the ghosts of those killed violently--inhabited their world when the number of ghosts keeping them out depleted. Spectres taint things that they touch, causing them to wither and die, and thus the Ghosts had kept them out of their paradisal world. The Ghosts were forced out of Darkheim, and those who were still there serve the Spectres.

Now the Ghosts wander the human world in groups, biding their time. Spectres return to the human world for one thing only: to find and kill those who ended their lives. Ghosts attack them then, dwindling their numbers slowly but surely. They also have to make sure that the targets and any innocents are kept safe, otherwise more Spectres would be created.

You

You could be a Ghost, fighting to free Darkheim and dwindle the numbers of the Spectres so that you can return to your world and make that final push to get it back. You could be a Spectre, bent on making sure you revenge yourself on your murderer, and getting rid of any ghosts or humans that get in your way. You can be a Human, caught in the middle of this conflict and thrust into it, or a murderer responsible for the death of a Spectre, forced to help the Ghosts to save your own life.

If you have any questions, ask them below or PM either me or Shrubbery.
