Hey, I have a pretty 'noobish' question to ask. Has anyone's work here been published? Maybe not full novel publication, but having a short story printed in a literary magazine or something like that?

Thanks for indulging me. :thud:

I know several members who have been published and/or won awards. :)

I've been published in anthologies and won some awards....oh, I sound boastful *embarrassed*
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

I've been published in a few anthologies and writing magazines, all poems except for one mini saga. Nothing profitable as of yet though. I'm still working on that ;)

I had a short story published in the first YWS Lit journal, and though it's not actual publication, I've had two short plays I wrote produced! That was pretty awesome. Hmmm I always wanted to clean them up and send them off for real publication, at least in the way stage plays do it now-a-days.

Also, YWS has a collection of works pulled from the site and published in our very own Young Writers Literary Journal. Check the announcements, because the 2010 edition is up! Soon enough, the time will come for you to submit your own works, if you so choose. :D

Maybe, maybe not, Knight. It took a lot of effort for Nate to get this edition out (Authors received notice they were in the Journal in May of last year).

Oh. Well, there's your answer, Wario. :P Either way, that's a way that many YWSers have been published. ;)

I'm going to be published in an anthology and I've had a poem published in Spun Yarn here on YWS (if that counts).
