Nope, Sanctum is dead. It generated a lot of interest in its first two weeks, but by the end, there were only a couple people logging in (and they were only logging in once a week).
LOL! Everybody's wondering about this now. It's an epidemic!

Sanctum was a text-based RPG game that I started up in May 2008 (or thereabouts). You created a character and you slayed evil creatures. The fun part was in picking random battles with other player's characters; Snoink especially liked killing my character.
It did very well for a couple weeks, and still did okay for a couple months. But by August of this year, no one had played it for months and so I didn't move it over with the rest of YWS. It took people four months to notice!
I did spend some time, though, looking into bringing either Sanctum back or some other text-based rpg game. If I were to do it again, I'd like to make it more seamless with the rest of YWS.
Since Sanctum was based on The Legend of the Green Dragon, anyone can try it out at: http://lotgd.net/home.php
