Here is a warrior monk drawn in the fusion style, a mixture of cutting edge american comic art, and manga.

Keep in mind this is only a draft--Ill post the finished product when it's...you know, finished.

That's really cool. Only thing that stood out for me is that with his highly detailed chest and arms, the face looks really flat.

the arm furthest away is too short, it should end somewhere between his hip and his knee.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

Cuttin' it a bit low there with the pants, eh? ;)

No, but seriously, this is an awesome bit of work, but something looks a bit off in the torso area. I think his pecs look a little bit too short or something, and it looks crooked, or something. I'm not really sure, but you'd probably know better than I, so... yeah.

The face does look a bit neglected... but I think that's just 'cause everything else is so detailed, almost crowded in some places...

My favourite bit has to be the glove and the scythe-looking thing, just 'cause the detail is so super amazing!! :P

as you said this isn't finish. The chest seems a bit over muscled, you know? Its like you overdid it. and it is also slightly disproportional, (such as the ribcage. Yes the face is a little too undefined and the arms, and really the whole body is all too sharp, you need to add some softer more round edges, because nobody has muscles all pointy and stuff... It's just weird. The head also seems a bit small compared to the rest of the body. The gauntlet and the weapon are really cool though. (pants are a tad low, but otherwise well drawn)
Life's a B*tch, slap it upside the head.

Dargquon Ql'deleodna: (n) "Dar-qu-on Kel-del-ode-na" something i made up that sounded cool, partially based off of the Drow Drizzt Do'Urden's name style

Pecks are too huge... but otherwise it's good...
I think that the fact he has these American Comic Jaw and face structure is really weird but original to his anime eyes and hair... but yeah. Keep this up, I look forward to your new draft or finished product.

The angular muscles are a stylistic thing. You may have noticed by now that he's not drawing realistically. And I disagree that the pecs are too big, but there is something wrong with the musculature/anatomy, which I can't quite place.
