I've decided to draw something for a change. I drew this Bell UH-1 a few nights ago during my period of post-homework boredom.
I've got a whole lot of other helicopter/airplane drawings. I'll probably post more of 'em eventualy.

Any critiquing is highly encouraged.

That is so cool. The shading is really good. I wish I could draw as good as you. I am not very good at drawing my specialty is stick people.

So they dont call you the silent aviator for no reason.

Its a pretty nice drawing, solid and strong.

However, the door is crooked to the opening.
And you should make the propellers look like they're moving, a blur of mass.
Lines in the direction it moves you know.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

That is good. Better than any mechanical drawing I've ever attempted. Good shading too. I'm a fan of anyone who can do darker shading cuz I can't.

It is a good picture. Better than what I can do! x] I'd say the only problem is your actually outline or what ever. I think you should of used a sharp pencil to show more clearly the details on the helicopter. Apart from that; fun work.

I like the reflection we get off the cockpit. That is really nice!

The door looks a little wierd, like it is about to fall off.

i saw this earlier, and it rocks, but i cant see it now because my computer is stupid, so yea, this is good, ill comment more tomorrow when i can see it.

Later time (2/27): i can see it now woooh, so its is a bit sketchy, you cant really see the writing on the side of the helo; the door looks as if it is going to fall off, and if the blades at the top are showing shouldn't the rotors in the back be showed as well. the shading is a little uneven, and in some places a bit too much shading, but otherwise pretty good, its way better than i could do at the moment.

Thank you all for the advice so far.

I'll implement it in the next helo. (should I ever finish the homework I'm "working" on)

i agree the door is a little crooked, but its not that noticable, only if you're specially looking for something to critique on. i love the shading - definately the best part. have you actually seen one of these up-close or did you draw it from a photo?

good work! :)
