Second one looks much more finished. I have trouble deciphering everything... like there's too many lines, but I just have to get used to it. Nothing wrong on your part.
"Sometimes we see a cloud that's dragonish,
A vapour sometimes like a bear or lion,
A towered citadel, a pendant rock,
A forked mountain, or blue promontory,
With trees upon't that nod unto the world,And mock our eyes with air.."
okay, I have an idea on the second one--everything is much too thick--you alksmost have too much line width goin on here...I think if you made a better contrast using thinner lines (mostly on the outline) it would look better...
Overall, a nice pic--the chained arms look a bit wonky, very unnatural positioning, but that's cool. Some of the creases in the clothes look unrealistic, but that's just my own modest opinion--lookin good Sponson.
Got YWS? I do.
Lumi: Don't you drag my donobby into this. Lumi: He's the sweetest angel this side of hades.
I love your style, the strong lines...hard for me to describe, duing to my limited art vocab, but I definitely like the first more, because the second weakened the lines and inherent artistic awesomeness of the first.
Thread rezzer! Thread rezzer! Off with their heads!
For the line art version, you can see how bad I sucked with the tablet.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.
