Yes thats a million times better Did you do this on photoshop? If you did you could blur the image sides so it dosen't look so sharp against the background?
I like it, my only concern is the big empty space under your name. It's just such a large negative space. I hope you have plans of filling it cause I think it will help balance your cover.

Hmmm... I'm not crazy about it. Don't get me wrong - I like the feather, and the mountain-like thing... but the blue sky doesn't do it for me. I mean, anything else might be overdoing it, and having too much going on all at once... I don't know what to suggest.

I am actually very fond of this cover. Even the empty space didn't scare me 'cause I'm so distracted with the lovely feather. However, as an idea to fill in the space due to popular vote, you could put a quote there. Whether it be a quote from your novel or a quote from a review, it would be a good spot for it. Just make the font smaller than the author's name. I wouldn't it too distracting from the feather.
