This is my first photoshopped picture. It consists of four different pictures. The earth, the gas pump, the gas pump handle, and the background desert.
Do you like?

It's not bad, and it looks interesting for certain. I can tell in some areas where you used what I would call a clone brush (bottom right) because the desert waves don't go together.
It's an interesting picture, but why not center the earth/gas tank? It draws my eyes to the bottom right, which feels strange. It also doesn't mix together, and though it looks cool, I know in my mind that it makes no sense. I think I'd prefer something that seemed at least slightly more realistic, or that blended together more to make it look natural. But that's me being silly.
But for your first photoshop, it's nice! An interesting thought. If the earth has shadow, and the gas tank has shadow, why does the gas pump have no shadow? This also makes it seem strange and unreal. Of course if you're going for surreal art, go all out!

Just because it = evil oil sheiks doesn't mean it looks better together. Also, looking at it, I think "Fill 'er up" is a lot better. Unleaded doesn't exactly add to it, but the length of the phrase and the randomness of it detracts.
