I recently did an optical art piece for some fun, and this is what I came up with.

Image

I used complimentary colors to highlight the main points of interest, the spheres. I did my best with my failing colored pencils to make all the colors as solid as possible, and I went over it twice, so I think the colors are solid enough to get an optical effect.

Feel free to slay my work.

Wow! I like it! it's rather interesting! I love the way the colors contrast with each other. Please PM me if you do more!

That's really cool! I loved it. It looks really strange is you zone into the middle with your eyes and then bring them back out to see the whole picture.

Who'd you do that? I want to draw something like that.
*Don't expect to see me around much in the next couple of weeks. School has started again, and it'll be a couple of weeks before I've settled in. If you've asked me for a critique, you will get it, but not for a little while. Sorry*

I don't know if htis is bad, but when I look in the middle my head starts to hurt really bad. lol.

This picture is awesome. Can you tell me how to do it too? The colors are awesome, and the way you did it is like "whoa".

Awesome pic,

It's rather complicated, to be honest, especially when making the spheres, it's difficult to explain. I'll try and make a visual guide, but you're going to have to try and figure it out from the picture for now? XD

Sorry, I'm no help.

mucho...umm...bien? i don't know...i can't speak Spanish...
that was random.
okay, anyhow, i really liked this piece. it was sort of predictable with, you know, which objects you decided to make appear closer.
that's okay, though, because the color schemes made up for it.
this was a very, very good piece. even if i can't tell you that in Spanish...

i'm not sure why i would, though.

haha.
