You're right -- the lighting on this *is* really relaxing.

The cat looks so pensive -- her pose and expression compliment the peaceful lighting very well. Personally, I'm not a fan of the twisted angle, but that's just me. I would've preferred a more dead-on shot.

But yeah, this is a nice photo. The angle is nice, the lighting and the cat compliment each other well. Although I just noticed the background and that sort of ruins it. But only if you're really looking for it. ^^

Great photo.

Oh wow!

That's a great shot and how did you get your cat to stay still? My cats never pose before the camera!

Anyway, the lampshade and the posture of Oreo is superb. It's heart warming; I mean it and as you said, peaceful. it really gives an aura of peace and calmness.

Lovely angle, pose, and lighting! I'm especially impressed by the natural way the odd angle of the photo works with the angle of the cat. Good job, darling.

I really don't like cats, but I liked this photo a lot.

The lighting turned out beautifully, since it blocked out any potentially distracting items in the background and left all the attention on the cat in the foreground. I love that you can see the fuzzies on the edge of the lamp, and how distinct each of Oreo's whiskers are.

Very nice. :D

Aw, this is highly cute. The lighting is very relaxing and it makes Oreo look god-like. I know you said you don't edit but I think the photo might be even better with the top cut off slightly.

Overall, I like the position, the lighting and the way you capture your cat.

Good stuff.
