Forgive me if there's a thread already like this, but I searched and didn't see one. Anyhow, I was wondering if there were any other photographers on YWS. If so, I think we should all post something we've captured.

Here's one of my recent shots:

(Sorry, I couldn't seem to find the unlabeled one!)

There is an art thread here:

viewforum.php?f=27

You could use that if you liked.

Nice picture, by the way :P

I'm moving this to Art since it fits quite well there.

Anyways, I like the photo, especially the change of focus. More blooms in the picture would be good however, and the power lines are distracting. Once I took a picture of a beautiful morning moon, only to realize later that it had power lines running through it...

Keep it up. :)

Wow, Fand I love your middle photograph, with the sunlight peeking through.

Here's a photograph of mine.

Fabien, finding something like that is a rare treasure. Right now what I see is just a picture of an abandoned car in the woods...to make it more striking, I would pull back and take a picture of the surrounding woods with the car in the lower right hand corner, to show the emptiness of the forest and to put more emphasis on the car, if that makes sense. I wish I could find things like that.

I have a few photos from New York City:

Panorama

Bicycle

And a recent manipulation:

Well, there are several ways.

1) You can insert them in attachments, as Fabien did.

2) If you already have them somewhere on the internet, like a photography site or Photobucket or something, you can link them, like BrokenSword did. You simply write <url=http://www.thesite.com/yourphoto'saddress/>Title of Your Photo
(but replace the <> with []).

3. You can also insert the image itself, as I did, by linking to image from Photobucket or a similar website. You do this by typing:

http://www.thesite.com/yourphoto'saddress

(Only, again, replace the <> with []).

If I wasn't clear, feel free to PM me and I'll try to clarify. Best of luck, DM!

Tons of cowering! Plus your name in the summer programme. A custom-designed banner. A cabin at Camp Half-Blood. Two shrines. I'll even throw in a Kymopoleia action figure.
